INTERIOR DESIGN is the art of creating a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. It should give you an improved lifestyle, by both making it more interesting and attractive to the eye and making it easier to function in. If a space does not do both, that is BAD design.
Does your current interior enhance your mood and make life almost seamless, if not, then, if you can you should improve it.
This is where a designer comes in, we take a brief from you to understand your needs and wants, we consider your financial package, we create a design communicated through mood boards and floor plans, among other options depending on your ability to visualise.
As a designer, I am here to help you create your dream space, not to sway what you want, I simply understand what you like and communicate that through your fixtures, finishes, and furniture and how the room is spatially planned.
My aim is to make your space live up to its full potential, currently you may not be maximizing the space you have, the storage, the lighting levels. When you plan out a room, there are so many factors you need to consider; how you use it daily, how many people it needs to serve, how you want the space to feel ie; relaxed, energetic, or fresh.
Too many people think the design is simple and straight forward, it is not, that is why there are professionals to help you, you may be thinking, “my home/space is nice.” That may be true, but the question is, is it the best space you could have? The answer is probably not.
